Asian Movies

When the Western movies getting boring, what Asian movies (**not porn movies) would you like to see the most? and what's the reason? Indonesian? Chinese? Korean? Japanese? Hindi (Bollywood)? Thailand? Hongkong? Anything else? Oh, Arabic? No no no, it's hard to find Arabic movies here. Arabic movies only exist in their country, internet, and sometimes on cable tv.

Bollywood? OMG mostly Bollywood movies are ridiculous. They cry, died, sing and dance in the same time. Is there any sense in the movie? I didn't know how the director or the scriptwriter make the movies/drama that way. I see nothing but the good look of the actors/actress.

I have to admit that the western (U.S and U.K I mean) still the best and I so much like western movies (not the drama). But I'd like to know how other countries make a story become a movie. Yes, it's about culture. Films are cultural artifacts created by specific cultures. They reflect those cultures, and, in turn, affect them. I like Indonesian movies, but we know that Indonesian film industry still need improving a lot. IDR 50K for Indonesian movie ticket on Saturday? Hffff.. I doubt that I will buy it.

What Asian movies I'd like to see the most? None (Indo, Korean and Chinese movies? Yes but not the most) For drama, of course I like Korean. Chinese, HK and Japanese drama? Sometimes. What about Thai? Hahaha no! I have 25 tittles of Thai films and drama but it's all bad. I only like the handsome Thai actors, not the stories. Because mostly Thai movies/drama give us trashy storyline. But if you watching Korean drama, I bet you would like to see again and again.
